Driving Me
Did you ever want something so badly that you knew it was wrong but wished for it all the same…
Well I am going through the same thing right now… I want a particular position, which I think I will get only if god decided to kill a person and drastically change another’s mind :) … Jokes apart, something bad happened to the person whose position I am kinda vying for… n I am kinda feeling guilty.. I had nothing to do with it.. but I had hoped that something would happen to get me in a lets say more favorable position
But I Know if I get this position it will be longer hours and both physically and emotionally wrenching, but I still want it, and “the obsession:” as I deem it has grown with time . Rationally I know it’s absolutely wrong for me, but a deep dark hidden place in me beckons it…
Is this drive something which take me places higher or drag me down into a hole I wonder ?

As per the other post regarding airport rd incident, its a shame that such incedents occur. yes, bangalore is no more a safe place!!!and i really cant understand the attitude of the cop there.
and where i could zoom away on my bike??? ha ha ha...it was the need of the hour... :)

I m not sure u can blame neone there...everyone thinks abt himself first..it is the reality. As far as the cop is concerned...yeah his attitude was bad...but...he is also a human being...u cant expect him to risk his life for some 5K he receives every month...
yeah ofcourse it is his job to protect ppl but to protect whom....to protect the VVIPs who go in bullerproof cars. if u expect him to be a brave cop ..think again...just try to look at the root cause of the issue rather than reacting to the face value.
What prompted that guy to launch an attack on these gals? what made the cop so indiffernt to the incident?
what made ur collegue to juss ignore the incident?
if you can answer all those Q's...u ll be able find a solution , as it is....

I agree with all that...thats what im saying... are we becoming too scared for self disregarding basic human tendency ..n irrespective of what that gal has done. u cant thrash anyone in public!!

Congrats on your promotion. To sound practical it was a mere coincidence that your wishes and the other guys fate turned out to come true at the same time.
To sound philosophical i would say that u prayed to the God and whatever God does is definitely for the best and do not feel that he was biased towards you. You deserved the promotion and u got it.

howz that person now?may be its possible that person got what was resereved for him/her....no point in feeliong gulity for some else problem for which u respossible....if hoping for somthing happend always then i would have BILL GATES...or may be President of United States.....
