Say a little prayer

Since last night, I have been watching Mumbai hurt by flames, gunshots and granades. Its been a constant 24 hours of praying and watching. I am tired with the media though , who are clamouring for details. The Indian army and special forces are doing their best. Telling the media about their immeadiate course of action is definitely not on top their priorities. And will the media please remember that the people who carried out these attacks are still watching the media too.
The brave Indian forces are doing their best to clear out the human trash, who are taking others lives. Let them do their job.Also I wish the foreign media stop comparing your situation to Indian situation. India is a country with billion people, security cant be as strict as in a place with 14 million citizens. The forces are doing their best and really dont need foreign influence right now to help. The Indian forces know the way to handle this situation a little better, so please stop asking them every 10 mins, if they need help. We appreciate it , but really let the Indian people look after their own

Finally I pray for the safety of each mumbaikar and Indian. I hope this god awful experience brings us closer together, rather than tear us apart with accusations. So dont blame a community or class of people, the real enemies are ones, who make you think of hate .This is when Indians remember the Constitution , which starts with "WE the people" .. the power is always in our hands and crazy lunatics cannot take that away.
Keep together ppl,
Anu

Hi Anu -Thanks for your prayers. This morning I awoke to the sound of a helicopter flying over and I was startled to say the least. Although we live in Bandra, terror so close to home is very scary. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who might still be held hostage, the brave men attempting rescue and of course, the families of those who've lost lives..

Hey Anu...long time. We'v grown up in those areas. It's so disturbing to think of something liek this. I'm in Delhi and we were watching aghast as the top floor of Taj finally fell.I remember my uncle taking me to Taj for my 16th birthday.

Quite true , we are considerably poor in comparison to the other nations and overly populated , and we have awful neighbors !

These people are disgusting , in fact they do not deserve to be called people or any earthen species for that matter !

@SMM:Everyone has a memory associated with mumbai, its sad that the beautiful monument will now be constantly marred with the blood that was shed there

@Priya:I agree

@Barath:I hope so too

@Sri:To talk about the indian govt and their actions will take a whole other post

@Keshi: The despair does bog us down, but we need to pick up and move against these horrors

Isn't it a shame ...whats happening in India. I am seething with anger - a level to which I have never reached before.
Prayers ...yes - it was required. Now ..lots of anger and lots of noise to force some action out of these nincompoops.
Blame games, resignations - man I wish I could have blasted all of these politicians to the Moon on Chandrayan.
